BASF India Limited has reported a net sales increase of 43% for the half year ended 30th September, 2001 over the corresponding half year of the previous year. The profit before tax went up by 28%.

Profit after tax increased by 72%.

The current half yearly results include the sales from erstwhile Cyanamid Agro Limited consequent to its amalgamation with BASF India Limited w.e.f. 1st April, 2001.
